Based out of Minneapolis, MN, Strong Converting was formed in February of 2018 by Marlan Kuhlmann after he purchased Litin Converting from his former employer Litin Paper Company. Strong Converting has over 100 years of experience manufacturing paper rolls and sheets of many grades and uses.

Marlan’s history with paper goes back to 1984 when he joined Litin Paper Company as a salesman. This was before cell phones and before the company even had a computer. Back then, if you wanted to know how much Kraft paper was in stock, you had to run up to the third floor to take a look. There was no internet and no email. Business was done face-to-face, person-to-person. Now, with various technology, you can get done in a couple hours what would have taken days, but we still operate under the same mentality: to make Strong people connections. It’s the people that make the work interesting, fun, and worth doing.
